THE ISSUE WITH COOLING:
Thousands of automatic transmissions fail every year from overheating. Whether you're towing a heavy load or driving in stop-and-go traffic, you risk overheating your transmission fluid. When your transmission fluid reaches 200°, it starts breaking down.
• at 240° varnishes form and transmission life expectancy is halved.
• at 260° transmission internal seals and rubber parts harden; major damage starts.
• at 295° or above the transmission starts slipping, clutches burn, and carbon forms.
With each 20° drop in operating temperature, your fluid and equipment life doubles. Installing a cooler before damage starts and reducing the transmission fluid temperature by as much as 60° can greatly extend the life of your transmission.
THE DIESELSITE SOLUTION:
The COOLERMAX transmission cooler is specially designed by DIESELSITE to be a reliable upgrade over your existing transmission cooler OR as an auxiliary unit used with your OEM cooler.
In the 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L, the stock cooler is rated at 31,000 BTUs. Our 17-Row COOLERMAX is rated at nearly 59,000 BTUs... over 10,000 more BTUs than common 13-Row aftermarket units!

• Efficient 17-row stacked-plate core for optimal performance with minimal pressure loss
• JIC cooler fittings to 316 stainless hose barb adapters for corrosion prevention and leaks
• SAE J1532 transmission hose features a spiral polyester reinforcement for increased pressure tolerance
• Same bracket footprint as the Tru-Cool® 4739 transmission cooler
THIS KIT INCLUDES:
Installation hardware is supplied for use in the 1994-2003 Ford Super Duty 7.3L trucks and will allow you to install in-line with your existing transmission cooler.
