The difference in the stage 1.5 is the 30% over larger nozzles. The 30% nozzle allows more fuel to exit the injector quicker into the combustion cycle which increases horsepower even further. The injector has a limited time to inject fuel into the cylinder for the combustion cycle. We measure this time in milliseconds. With a larger nozzle we can inject more fuel per millisecond into the cylinder for combustion, which creates more power. The downside to a larger nozzle is the extra fuel creates more heat and black smoke. So the larger the nozzle the more EGT's are created and the need for more air upgrades are needed.
The injectors in the 94-97 Powerstroke will increase horsepower from 105-155 hp to the rear wheels with a custom tuned performance chip. The stock AA injectors for the 94-97 OBS Powerstroke flow approximately 90cc of fuel. The stage 1.5 injectors can double your fuel flow reaching up to 180cc. The gain in power in substantial with the stage 1.5 injectors over the stock injectors. Stock AA injectors are limited by fuel delivery and even with performance tuning only about 235 hp total is the limit of the gains. With the extra fuel of the stage 1.5 injectors the increases can be up to 380hp total horsepower.
Each injector comes with a new nozzle, new *Tungsten coated plunger and barrel assembly, new springs, and as needed more internal wear parts are replaced if needed. Flow tested and matched down to a 1% variation at idle and wide open flow. New internal and external O-rings are installed.
Please note- a custom tuned chip is required to make these injectors work properly in your truck. We recommend installing new glow plugs when installing injectors. Theses are easy to change at the same time as the injectors. However valve covers are reusable and should be fine unless the harness is damaged. Shipping charges include a return label for your cores if you have not selected to send in cores first. If you have selected to send in cores first before your product ships it is the customers responsibility to ship cores in. We do not charge any other fees to repair your core injectors.
Please note some of the other companies charge for bad parts on top of the advertised price and do not use new plungers and barrels or nozzles in their injectors. Injectors that have ran vegetable oil leave a damaging coating and will not be accepted as cores.

This is the second set of 180/30s I’ve bought. My 02 f250 has the same setup besides the trans, tunes are very clean in the daily driver and tow settings, this truck tows every day and these injectors make it enjoyable to drive again, best investment for one of these old trucks hands down.
Cracked a nozzle on my old injectors. The 180/30s were shipped fast as well as the tunes I ordered. Easy to install and run better then when I bought it.
I have an F450 work truck with Crane, welder, etc. It is a very heavy truck. With these injectors, stock turbo, a hydra chip and the right tunning, this thing has plenty of power. Big improvement from stock.

Truck runs like a goddamn freight train. Definitely feel the power increase and the throttle response is insane. Now my stock injectors were pretty filthy and definitely had a lot of buildup.
Only put on about 150 miles since Thursday of last week and it’s Tuesday today. It definitely takes 50 to 100 miles of liberated driving to work out the air bubbles.
The full force 180/30 injectors paired with jelibuilt tunes and my kc300x stage 1 turbo is what my truck needed perfect amount of power every where I need it!
simple to install and delivered quick. However, i’m currently having a bad idle issue that has gotten slightly worse since driving. Still trying to figure out why it idles bad but it drives good and has tons of power.

My 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty, with the dynamic and durable 7.3, was feeling a bit sluggish. I have 321,375 original miles on my current injectors. I feel like they did their job.
