Climbing into the bed of a Super Duty from the bumper is hard on the knees and back, and it's worse on a lifted truck. The AMP Research BedStep bolts to the frame under the rear bumper. Nudge it with your foot and it drops down to give you a solid step into the bed, then push it back up and it tucks out of the way. Because it's frame mounted, it still works with the tailgate down or a trailer hooked up.
It's built like AMP's PowerSteps. The linkage is die-cast aluminum alloy, black anodized and PTFE coated against corrosion. The hinge points are stainless and the bushings are press-fit, so there's nothing to maintain. The step itself is molded from glass-reinforced resin with a ridged, non-slip surface for grip in mud, rain or snow.
