Climbing in and out of a lifted or leveled Super Duty gets old fast, especially with bigger tires. The AMP Research PowerStep fixes that. It's an electric running board that swings out as soon as you open a door and tucks back up under the truck when you close it, so you get an easy step in without losing ground clearance or hanging a fixed board off the rockers.
These are some of the best-built steps out there. A heavy-duty OEM-quality motor drives each side, and the linkage is die-cast aircraft-grade aluminum, black anodized and PTFE coated to hold up to salt, mud and winter roads. The hinge points and bearings are stainless and the bushings are self-lubricating, so there's nothing to grease. The extruded aluminum steps have full-length internal ribs and a textured powder coat for grip, and each side is rated for 600 lb. The built-in LED lights the ground when the doors open.
Note: Some trimming is required on regular and extended cab trucks. For 2002-2003 Super Duty, see the AMP Research 75134-01A PowerStep.
