Worn-out factory steering linkage on a 99-04 Super Duty means wandering, play in the wheel and constant corrections, and it only gets worse once you add bigger tires. We've put a lot of these trucks back on the road, and the Synergy heavy-duty steering kit is one of the best fixes out there. It swaps out the stock tie rod and drag link for much stronger parts that bolt right in.
What sets the 7525-21 apart: This kit steps up to two FOX IFP steering stabilizers on Synergy's dual stabilizer bracket. Running dual stabilizers is the move for lifted trucks or big wheel and tire packages where one stabilizer just can't keep up with the extra weight.
Key Features
- Heat-treated 1.5" x .188 wall 4130 chromoly tie rod — over 40% stronger than the factory piece
- 1.5" x .250 wall USA-made 1026 DOM drag link, bent to clear the axle brackets, diff cover and sway bar mounts
- Single-plane tie rod end on the axle side gets rid of drag link flop and that dead spot when you change direction
- Heavy-duty metal-on-metal tie rod ends with 1" shanks, grease fittings and dust boots — serviceable, not throwaway
- Double adjuster sleeves with pinch bolts instead of jam nuts, so you can set toe on the truck and it stays put
- Two-stage powder coat finish to hold up to salt and road grime
- Bolts into the factory mounts with basic hand tools — works with stock wheels and tires
