After 20+ years, the factory rubber body mounts on most Super Duty crew cabs are worn out. The cab starts to sag, the gaps between the cab and bed get uneven, and more road vibration and noise come through into the cab. Worn mounts also let the chassis shake the radiator, hoses and the rest of the cooling stack, which wears those parts out faster too. The Mishimoto Silicone Body Mount Kit replaces all eight factory bushings to bring the cab back up to height, square the body lines back up and quiet the ride down.
Each bushing is molded from silicone, which stays flexible for the long haul and won't harden or dry-rot like old rubber. The steel cups are dual coated to fight rust, and all the included hardware has an anti-corrosion finish. Mishimoto also uses a keyed cap anti-rotation design: a retainer holds the upper and lower cups in place while you run the bolt in and torque it from above, so one person can do the job instead of two. It's a direct-fit swap with no modifications needed.
Note: Crew cab only. For regular and extended cab trucks, use Mishimoto MMBM-F2D-99RC. 2003 gas trucks use a different part number.
