How It Works

Plug it into the OBDII port. It runs off the truck's 12V, so there are no batteries or extra boxes. For bench work, power it with a 12V harness.

Open Chimera Connect on your iPhone or Android and connect. It shows up as "Chimera" with no pairing code.

The app reads the modules on the truck and adds your ECM and FICM to your garage.

Browse the tunes that match your calibration, unlock with tokens, and flash while you watch the progress live.

Your trucks, unlocks and flash history are saved to your Chimera Connect account. Sign in on a new phone and it's all there.

Status Lights

Red: Power

Blinks the whole time the unit is on and running.

Green: Vehicle (CAN)

Blinks while it's talking to the truck over the CAN bus. Some stickers label this one "USB."

Yellow: Bluetooth

Blinks when data is passing between the Chimera and your phone.

Requirements & Tips

You'll need an iPhone or Android phone. Some iOS and Android tablets are supported.
During a flash, keep your phone close to the Chimera, and keep the truck's battery healthy or on a charger.
For the steadiest Bluetooth connection, stay away from heavy 2.4 GHz interference. Setting nearby Wi-Fi to 5 GHz helps.
