JeliBuilt 7.3L Tuning for Edge Insight CTS3 + 

Complete custom 7.3 tuning by JeliBuilt Performance for the CTS3 Insight +. Our custom tuning is written for your particular modifications, such as, injectors, turbocharger, high pressure oil pump, transmission, etc. For optimal performance, drivability and cleaner fueling, these tunes utilize the MAP sensor. 

Brian Jelich has been tuning the 7.3 Powerstroke since 2010 and perfecting the art of custom tuning to match each truck specifically. Whether you are looking for better towing or all out performance, we have you covered.

• The CTS3 Insight + is a flash-only device via OBDII and does not support Switch on the Fly (SOTF) tuning.
• 1996-2003 7.3 Powerstroke
• You must have a CTS3+, The + designates custom tuning capabilities and the tuning license.

How It Works 

After your purchase, you will receive an email requesting for your vehicle’s backup file. To generate your backup file please see below. 

Generate Your Backup File 

• Flashing the truck with the 'Modify Stock' will generate the required 'backup.frd' files you’ll need to run custom tunes.
• Once this process is completed, you can then take your CTS3 back to your PC.
• Once connected at the PC, open the CTS3 drive populated and open the 'Tune' folder. Copy and paste the 'backup.frd' file to your desktop.
•  Reply to the email thread we provided at sales@jelibuilt.com. Please send the 'backup.frd' file as an attachment.
• Once sent, it can take 1-2 business days to build and send your custom tunes. You will receive the tunes in the same email thread. 

Load and Flash Custom Tune Files

Once you receive your custom tune files via email, you can load them onto your CTS3.

• Once we have generated your custom tune files and emailed them back to you, reconnect your CTS3 to the PC and simply drag and drop your new files onto the main drive of the CTS3, not any of the folders.
• The device will confirm that you loaded each file(s) one by one. Hit continue to confirm each.
• Returning to the vehicle with your CTS3+, power up the vehicle in the run position, without starting the engine, select 'Tune' and then 'Custom Tuning'. You should see your new Custom calibrations within this sub-menu, which can then be selected and flashed into your PCM. Follow the prompts to flash the tune onto the PCM.

Modified Stock

Low power calibration with transmission tuning.  

Strenuous Tow

For the heavier loads. Optimized fuel and ICP control. Transmission tuning is heavily modified. 

Tow Performance

This is a tow tune with a little kick, higher shift points, and pressure. Ideal for light to moderate loads.

Eco Mileage

Mediocre power tune with lower shift points. 

Daily Driver

A well-balanced street tune that enhances responsiveness while generally reducing engine noise for a smoother driving experience.

Hot Street 

Just starting to turn up the heat. This is a fun tune to drive on.

Extreme Street

This tune delivers a more aggressive performance compared to the Hot Street.

Drag Ripper 

This is the most powerful tuning file available in our lineup.
