The factory turbo performs well, but airflow and power limitations become noticeable under load and in performance applications. The KC Jetfire expands airflow capacity while improving boost control, reducing back pressure, lowering EGTs, and delivering quicker spool-up. Does the KC Jetfire fit my 2015 or 2016 F-250, F-350, or F-450?
Yes. The KC Jetfire is a direct-fit upgrade for 2015-2016 6.7L Powerstroke trucks. Note that 2015-2016 applications require the 2017-2019 pedestal installation kit, which can be added above.
Why do 2015-2016 trucks need the 2017 pedestal conversion kit?
The KC Jetfire uses the 2017-style pedestal mounting configuration. Since 2015-2016 trucks use a different factory pedestal, the conversion kit is required to properly mount the turbo. You can add it at checkout or source it yourself.
What is the difference between Whistling and Non-Whistling?
Both configurations deliver similar performance. The Whistling version produces an audible turbo spool sound under boost, while the Non-Whistling version operates more quietly. The choice is purely personal preference.
Does the KC Jetfire work on a stock tune?
Yes. The KC Jetfire will operate on a stock calibration. However, you will be responsible for any updated calibrations or tuning that may be needed for your specific application and supporting modifications.
Is the VGT solenoid included?
Yes. The VGT solenoid is included with the KC Jetfire for 2015-2016 applications.
What cover color options are available?
The KC Jetfire is available in Standard, Fire Truck Red, Bright Green, Royal Blue, Jet Black, Metallic Gold, and Haunter Purple powder coat finishes. Powder coat options add lead time to your order.
How much power can the KC Jetfire support?
The KC Jetfire is capable of supporting up to 650-700HP with the right supporting modifications and calibration. Performance output will vary depending on your vehicle's overall configuration.
