CNC Fab bumped the flow on this one to match up with the 180cc 30% over injectors, the most popular injector on the 7.3, since they're a little more oil hungry than a 160. On 1996-2003 trucks this Stage 1 pump (PN 424028) flows 5.7-5.9 GPM, around 10% more than a new 99.5-03 stock pump and about 20% more than a '96-early '99 pump. It'll support injectors all the way up to 238cc hybrids, which makes it a great fit for daily drivers, tow rigs and mild builds that want more volume without stepping up to a Stage 2.
94.5-95 trucks: The early trucks use a different front engine cover and have the anti-drain back built into the pump, so they get CNC's Stage 1 version (PN 424015) built for that housing. It flows about 10% more than a new 94.5-early '99 stock pump and supports up to 200cc hybrid injectors.
Every pump is built with an in-house machined swash housing and steel thread inserts in the outlet ports, then flow-bench tested before it ships with its own test sheet.
