Description:

KDD’s O-Ring cylinder heads start with a 100% new heavy-duty casting—built exclusively to their specifications. Unlike OEM heads, these are engineered with a higher nickel content and a thicker deck surface for maximum rigidity. Known factory weak points are eliminated: injector bores are reinforced, bolt holes are strengthened, and hardened valve seat inserts prevent cracking.

From bare casting to finished product, every machining step is completed in-house on precision CNC equipment, ensuring exact tolerances and consistency.

The O-Ring Advantage:

Head gasket failure is a common issue on the 6.0 Powerstroke. KDD’s O-ring solution solves this by machining a receiver groove into the deck surface, then pressing in a USA-made stainless wire. This wire protrudes slightly, applying extra sealing pressure across all layers of the MLS gasket. Unlike copper or softer materials, KDD’s stainless wire won’t compress or deform, and it’s reusable if you ever pull the heads again. Best of all, these heads work with standard off-the-shelf gaskets and don’t require block machining—just clean, dry, and flat deck prep.

The valve guides are precision diamond-honed with a crosshatch finish for oiling and long service life. Each head is hand-assembled to blueprinted specs with USA-made components—valves, springs, retainers, locks, seals, injector sleeves, and glow plug sleeves.
